Title: Treasury Accountant

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + generous discretionary bonus & benefits

Location: central London - Hybrid

Our client is a FTSE listed multinational Energy group headquartered in London with operations across the globe. They are currently seeking a Treasury Accountant to join their finance department. You will manage the day-to-day treasury activities and funding for the company, cross-checking every transaction for accuracy and ensuring documentation is correct. You must also maintain excellent relationships with our banking partners and collaborate with our global team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Undertake day to day treasury operations including cash and liquidity management, foreign exchange management and intragroup funding
  • Manage the group's cash on a daily basis, in accordance with approved group policies, including the placing of deposits and the drawdown of facilities
  • Report weekly and monthly on the Group's cash and net debt position
  • Ensure the group is adequately funded by lending cash intra-group as and when required
  • Ensure all intercompany funding documentation is valid and maintained
  • Proactively identify Treasury Operations process gaps and work with the team to improve Treasury processes
  • Take primary "ownership" of all the Group's treasury payment systems, including reviewing users regularly to ensure accesses are in line with specific job requirements
  • Maintain Group's banking relationships for cash management and FX trading
  • Support A/P function by processing payments and recording transaction
  • Provide support on a variety of ad-hoc projects, as required

Requirements:

  • Have previous experience working within a Treasury function
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Have the ability to build and maintain working relationships both internally and externally
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and strong analytical skill
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Prior knowledge and experience of working with a TMS and ERP systems is beneficial
