Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers and teaching assistant in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, including those with special educational needs.
- Help prepare classroom materials and resources.
- Supervise students during breaks, lunchtimes, and other activities as needed.
- Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and other learning programs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting as a teaching assistant.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting student development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Basic understanding of child development and educational practices.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is desirable but not essential.
