I am currently looking to hire a Senior Underwriter with expertise across marine logistics, ports & terminals and marine trades. The book is large and over half the book is US binders, but the book is moving toward a direct model, with more business being digitalised and less cost attached to acquisition, meaning more time can be dedicated to the client/coverholder. This role will require technical expertise of niche marine products and will require some travel to clients or coverholders in the US when required. There is also a desire to increase the International book and any expertise/contacts in this area would be of great interest.
