Robert Half are working in partnership with a rapidly growing, forward-thinking business near Cirencester to recruit a Management Accountant role to join their finance team on a permanent full-time basis. This is exciting, autonomous role that will be heavily involved with preparing the monthly management accounts, financial analysis, business partnering, improving processes and procedures and be involved with a system implementation. The Senior Management Accountant will play an integral part to the company's growth prospects and will be have scope to develop and up-skill in the near future. The salary is between £50,000 - £60,000 plus hybrid working and other excellent benefits.
The Role
The main duties of the Senior Management Accountant role will consist of:
- Preparing the monthly management accounts.
- Preparing the annual budget and forecast.
- Variance analysis.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Fixed assets and depreciation.
- Financial reporting and analysis.
- Presenting data and management information to stakeholders.
- Implementing and improving processes.
- Contributing towards a system implementation.
Requirements
To be considered for the Senior Management Accountant role, you must ideally have the following skills/attributes:
- Must have proven experience in preparing management accounts.
- Must ideally be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified
- Strong attention to detail.
- Self starter
- Highly organised.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proactive.
- Innovative mindset.
Salary & Benefits
- £50,000 - £60,000 DOE
- Hybrid working; 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
