Regional HR Manager - Southern Regions

Our clients is seeking a HR Generalist to join their dynamic team to cover their sites in Cardiff, Reading, Clacton & Birmingham with one HR Advisor reporting to them. This role is home based with travel to the various sites required every week, where there are HR Administrators for each site in situ, to support with ER, performance management ideally with manufacturing / production experience.

? To develop strong relationships with site leaders and line managers across specified sites and to provide HR support and advice.

? To advise site leaders and line managers in employee-related initiatives and issues.

? To support site leaders and line managers on site and via video conferencing in disciplinary and grievance issues up to and including potential dismissal.

? To participate in resolving employee relations issues including contract changes, redundancies and absence/sickness management.

? Working with line managers, general managers, and outsourced occupational health provider to manage absence cases, both short and long term.

? In conjunction with on-site administrators, to collate absence information and prepare monthly HR MI reports as required.

? To provide monthly reports on all ongoing ER issues.

? In conjunction with the Head of HR. to be abreast of legislative changes and continually update all HR policies and procedures as required, to assist in any required changes and communication of those changes.

? Working with the Head of HR on employee engagement initiatives and participation in Sustainability teams as required.

? To regularly audit personnel files at all locations ensuring all employees have up to date right to work checks and signed contracts.

? To undertake any ad hoc duties as required.

? To generally promote and encourage an environment where there is a positive awareness and commitment to safe and healthy working.

? Ensure own and others performance and behaviour is in compliance with company policies and procedures.

? To attend training courses as required.

? To foster and maintain good working relations throughout the Company.

? Fulfil other reasonable tasks as may be required from time to time for the general benefit of the business.

? Represent the Company in a professional, polite, and efficient manner.
