Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be exclusively recruiting for a growing business who are looking for an ambitious and talented leader to take on a new role as Group Financial Controller. This is a role that will offer an exciting challenge for someone who wants to take on the leadership of a finance function whilst still getting well supported by a superb and personable Group Finance Director.
This is a varied role, and one that is key to the business as it continues to grow. This role will be responsible for:
- Lead the financial accounting, financial control and statutory reporting requirements of the Group. The Group FC will manage all areas of the team - from the treasury and tax function, through to the financial accounting and reporting
- Lead the Audit process for the group
- Lead the payroll team, delivering accurate and timely payroll for the Group. This will involve managing the Group Payroll Manager and the team below to ensure a best-in-class function. The business has plans to implement new payroll systems, and this position will play a key part in supporting that.
- Lead the banking and treasury activity for the group. Cashflow management and modelling will be critical for the business moving forward, and this role will lead initiatives to manage and improve that.
- Management of a team of 10-12, developing the individuals and being responsible for the leadership and implementation of a strong team ethos and culture.

Experience wise, we are looking for a Qualified Finance Manager / leader who has a strong knowledge of IFRS. The Group will look to further acquire smaller businesses - so experience in acquisitions and integrations would be useful - and another plus for the role.
