Embedded Software Engineer £45k - £50k - Semi remote - Silverstone
Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a well established and expanding Wireless solutions manufacturer based in Silverstone. They are now seeking Embedded Software Engineers with a solid understanding of Linux for a brand new, multi-million pound project.
The company expanding due to recent successes in the market, you will be working with some of the biggest names in their industry, delivery world changing products that will be used globally. As the company has excellent training and onboarding, they are open to candidates that need training.
You will be working as part of a mid sized, dedicated team. Delivering world changing products. As an Embedded Software Engineer you will be working closely with the Hardware and Mechanical Design team.
Key Skills:
- Degree in Embedded Systems, Electronics or similar
- 2+ years commercial Embedded C experience
- Knowledge or experience of Linux or Embedded Linux is highly desirable
- An interest, experience or appreciation for cellular devices is preferred (RF, IOT, Telco etc)
- Exposure to working on FPGA based products is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to gain security clearance.
