Children and Families Senior Social Worker

We are seeking dedicated Social Workers and Senior Social Workers for our locality teams across Gloucestershire. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and their families, ensuring their safety and improving their outcomes.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Engage directly with children, young people, and their families to assess needs and coordinate with multi-agency teams to deliver tailored interventions.
- Maintain and manage a caseload, adjusting the complexity and number of cases in line with experience and service needs.
- Develop and implement outcome-focused plans for children and families, ensuring sustained positive outcomes.
- Prepare and present high-quality reports and statements for various professional settings, including legal proceedings.
- Ensure all documentation and case files are maintained accurately and up-to-date, adhering to data protection regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Recognised qualification in Social Work.
- Completion of the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE).
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel as needed.
- DBS clearance.
- Experience in frontline social work, particularly in child protection and statutory childcare.
- Strong assessment and risk management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
