Temporary Finance Officer (part-time, 2 days per week)

Join the team at a highly successful school as a Finance Officer, where high expectations and aspirations are the driving force behind student success. They are seeking an experienced individual to become an integral part of their friendly and efficient Finance team.
Day to Day of the role:
- Work alongside the Senior Finance Officer and Head of Finance to manage daily financial administration.
- Prepare and process data using the school's finance system.
- Administer purchase orders and invoices, document goods received for payment, and ensure accuracy to resolve disputes.
- Liaise with key stakeholders including students, parents, budget holders, and suppliers.
- Conduct monthly processing, reconciliations, reporting, and updates.
- Handle routine tasks and ad-hoc jobs in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant experience working in a financial setting.
- Up-to-date knowledge of all Microsoft packages and comfort using online portals.
- Familiarity with PS Financials, Parent Pay, Lloyds Bank, ARBOR, and Microsoft suite is desirable.
- Highly organised with great attention to detail.
- Team player, approachable, motivated, proactive, and willing to learn and progress.
