Machine Operator Key Duties:
Set-Up and Operation:
- Set up and operate SMT equipment, including screen printers, pick and place machines, reflow ovens, and automated optical inspection (AOI) systems.
- Load and unload components and materials onto SMT machines as per the production schedule and job specifications.
- Adjust machine settings and parameters to meet specific job requirements.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues or malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
Quality Control:
- Inspect assembled PCBAs for quality and adherence to specifications manual inspection methods.
- Ensure all products meet industry standards and company quality expectations.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate production records, including setup sheets, inspection reports, and machine logs.
- Report any discrepancies, defects, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.

Machine Operator Preferred Requirements:
- Ideally have experience of operating and running machinery
- Experience of machine changeovers and set-ups would be advantageous
- Can follow set instructions and processes
- A can-do attitude and happy to learn
- Must be happy to work on a permanent afternoon
- Attention to detail is critical
