We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced History Teacher to support our client secondary school in Sheffield on a full time basis. the requirements:

  • (Must) Hold QTS qualification or equivalent.
  • (Must) Hold a History qualification.
  • (Must) Hold eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to process one through Randstad).
  • Previous experience teaching KS3/ KS4.
  • Previous experience teaching the history curriculum.
  • A passion for History!
  • Strong behaviour and classroom management skills.

the responsibilities:

  • Presenting captivating and inspiring History lessons.
  • Meet the daily objectives and targets set.
  • Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Apply a variety of teaching techniques to support all students' learning needs.
  • Building rapport with your students, teachers and support staff.
  • Working collaboratively with other colleagues in the school to coordinate lessons.
