Neighbourhood Response Officer
- Hourly Rate: £19.75 PAYE or £24.51 Umbrella

We are looking for a Neighbourhood Response Officer to join our team and ensure our neighbourhoods are desirable places for residents to live. This role involves understanding local needs, collaborating with teams, resident groups, and external partners to maintain clean, safe, and well-maintained estates, and planning and delivering improvements.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and deliver neighbourhood plans and local offers.
- Conduct regular estate inspections, prioritising fire safety risk assessment follow-up work.
- Collaborate with local residents groups to develop community facilities, activities, and events.
- Work with local partners such as safer neighbourhood teams, the voluntary sector, and youth services on neighbourhood safety and anti-social behaviour (ASB) issues.
- Liaise with other departments on neighbourhood improvements and services.
- Visit customers in breach of their tenancy or lease agreement.
- Assess and support customers who may require additional tenancy sustainment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in neighbourhood or community-focused roles.
- Knowledge of tenancy agreements and the ability to address breaches effectively.
- Strong collaborative skills to work with various teams and external agencies.
- Ability to organise and prioritise work effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Experience in handling ASB cases and working with vulnerable customers is desirable.
