My client is looking for a Financial Controller to join their family run business just a few miles outside of Thirsk. The candidate will be working within a small finance team and reporting directly into a supportive Managing Director.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Production of monthly Management Accounts and supporting information
- Rolling cash flow forecasting, managing payment of Suppliers, debt collection and bank reconciliation
- Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
- Production of annual budget and quarterly forecasting
- Production of Year End Accounts and liaison with external Accountants
- Weekly and monthly departmental labour efficiency reports
- Preparation of VAT and PAYE returns
- Management of company pension schemes
- Responsible for 2 direct reports
- Preparation and presentation of reports for meetings
Ideally you will have worked in a similar level role for a SME and will be able to commute to Thirsk for this full-time, office based opportunity.
