Job Description:

As a Legal Recruitment Consultant at Victor Chase, you will play a pivotal role in connecting legal professionals with top law firms and corporate legal departments. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment process, from candidate sourcing and client development to placement and after-care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Develop and maintain relationships with law firms and corporate legal departments. Understand their recruitment needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Identify, attract, and screen potential candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
  • Interviewing and Assessment: Conduct interviews and assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit for client organisations.
  • Placement: Match candidates with suitable positions and manage the offer process, including salary negotiations and on-boarding support.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights to clients and candidates.
  • Networking: Build and maintain a strong network of legal professionals to ensure a steady pipeline of candidates and clients.
  • Business Development: Proactively seek out new business opportunities and expand the client base.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within the legal sector.
  • Strong understanding of the legal market and recruitment processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
