New opportunity - HR Advisor in the Education Sector

We are seeking skilled HR professional looking for an exciting opportunity in the education sector.

We are seeking a talented HR Advisor with generalist experience to join our Clients team in Birmingham.

Key Details:

  • Location: Birmingham, UK
  • Role: HR Advisor
  • Sector Experience: Education (essential)
  • Type: Temporary (hourly rate)
  • Hours: 37 hours per week
  • Flexibility: Office Based Role
  • Salary: Equivalent to £32,000 per annum (FTC)

Role Requirements:

  • You have a minimum 2+ years experience in HR
  • Enjoys working collaboratively within a HR team
  • Has a strong Knowledge of employment law & legislations
  • Confident communicator
  • Able to travel to the Birmingham Office

Overview of the role of HR Advisor:

  • Assisting with all aspects of the recruitment cycle, from posting job ads, pre-screening candidates, responding to job applications and supporting the interview process when required
  • Working collaboratively with managers and keys stakeholders across the group providing advise and support on HR related issues
  • Support the on-boarding process of new starters across the business
  • Offer guidance and advice to employees and line managers on range of ER issues, as well as supporting the wider HR team during disciplinary hearings
  • HR inbox management
  • Contribute to implementation and development of policies & procedures
  • Support HR Team projects both business wide and adhoc.
