Are you an established TA with experience in assisting in a 1:1 role? Do you own either a Level 2 or higher qualification as a Teaching Assistant? Are you looking for a role within Primary education?

If yes then this could be the role for you!!

We are currently searching for Teaching Assistants that have prior experience within a 1:1 role who have dealt with children with various learning needs. We are currently looking for someone who has the drive and commitment to encourage those who require extra support in their learning to raise attainment and participation within a mainstream class. The child you would be working with and supporting is in Reception within a SEN provision at a mainstream school.

The role would be Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:30am - 3:30pm starting from September till July 2025. The client has asked for an individual with experience in dealing with children with autism or who have had 1:1, SSA or EYFS experience.The ideal candidate would be of a patient nature who brings an energetic and fun approach to learning. Pay starts at £14+ per hour for a HLTA role. TA roles are also available in the same provision starting at £13+ per hour.

Essential Requirements:

  • Knowledge of development matters
  • Must be an outgoing individual with an ability to engage with pupils to have FUN while learning
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and competently within a team
  • Must be able to engage learners through play
  • Must have childcare Level 2 or above.
  • Knowledge of the new EYFS KS1 or KS2 curriculum
  • An understanding of SEN or learning needs.
