We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated specialist physiotherapist to work in the Paediatric therapies team, which is part of specialist Child Health Services. We seek a hard-working, compassionate individual who wants to share and develop their skills and knowledge in working with children and young people aged 0-19 years to help them reach their maximum potential.

Description:

Lead and provide a skilled and competent specialist physiotherapy service to children and young people aged 0-19 years.

Implement therapy programmes for individuals and groups while working as a member of an interdisciplinary/agency team.

Participate in the development of the Therapy Service.

Supervise other qualified and unqualified physiotherapists and therapy assistants in their work.

Demonstrate an attitude that respects and values service users and their parents/carers.

Skills:
- BSc Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Registered with the HCPC
- Post-qualification experience, including experience of working in community settings
- Experience working in a Paediatric background
- Knowledge of Paediatric conditions, e.g. Cerebral Palsy
- Knowledge of Paediatric therapy outcome measures
- Proven ability to effectively plan, organise and prioritise own workload
