Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to grow your career in finance? Think Accountancy & Finance are searching for an enthusiastic Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our expanding Finance team. Be a part of a fast-paced environment where your skills will contribute to exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Creation: Generate and update invoices for various projects.
  • System Synchronisation: Transfer invoices.
  • Cash Application: Allocate collected payments and apply them to customer accounts across multiple systems.
  • Debt Follow-Up: Monitor outstanding receivables and proactively chase overdue payments.
  • Account Management: Set up new customer accounts, including performing credit checks and establishing credit limits.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams through effective communication.
  • Financial Reporting: Handle monthly accruals, payment tracking, reconciliation of aging reports, and other financial reporting tasks.
  • Support Tasks: Assist various departments with monthly reporting and ad hoc duties as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or payable roles with strong analytical skills.
  • Organisational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and other IT tools.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Independence: Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Software Knowledge: Familiarity with RTPro and Acumatica is advantageous, but not required-training will be provided.
  • Commitment: Willing to work in the office five days a week.
