My client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Standalone Accountant to join their small team. The successful applicant will be AAT level 4 qualified and have minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role or qualified by extensive experience.
The Role:
The successful person will be responsible for providing financial control and administrative support, managing office operations, and ensuring efficient day-to-day functioning of the office. Attention to detail is imperative.
Accounts Duties
- Purchase ledger
- Invoicing,
- Payroll,
- Bank reconciliation,
- Payment runs
- VAT returns
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and data analysis
Administration Duties
- Manage and maintain office supplies inventory
- Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings
- Handle incoming calls and provide excellent phone etiquette
- Maintain accurate records and databases
- Provide administrative support to staff members as needed
Skills
- Proficient in financial management tasks
- Strong clerical skills with high level of attention to detail
- Familiarity with Microsoft office for document creation and management
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and office management practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
