Position: Homelessness Housing Lawyer
Organisation: London based Local Authority
Duration: Initial 3 month contract
Working Pattern: Full time
Working Arrangement: Hybrid working- one day a week office attendance
Hourly Rate: Competitive hourly rate (DOE)
Venn Group's legal team are in partnership with a London based Local Authority in their search for a Locum Homelessness Housing Lawyer.
The ideal candidate for this role will be either a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx who has a proven track record of successfully managing their own case load of homelessness matters within local government.
Duties shall include:
- Managing a varied homelessness caseload and providing high quality legal advice
- Drafting legal applications on behalf of the council
- Handling s.202 appeals
- Providing Judicial Review advocacy for trials where appropriate
