Our global IT Service provider needs an experienced PMO Specialist to work with one of there biggest clients with 40 offices gloably.
The role will be a Permanent homebased romote working with the ocasional London office meetings and overseas travel.
Language: English, but Japanese would be desirable or working within a Japanese company
Must have a proven PMO background supporting overseas projects within a Managed Service Company
The Project Management Officer Specialist will be within a team of PMOs reviewing proposals, project progress, risk and issue management and profitability of projects which is managed by Project Managers in each Division.
The PMO Specialist will work with other PMO members and improve project management quality and efficiency through standardization of project management process, tools and documents, and education for project managers as well as managers.
This position requires a person who has experience executing enterprise-wide IT projects as a project manager, and who can review proposals, project plans including project schedule, tasks, budget and resources by project managers as a PMO member. This role requires the individual to point out problems, issues, and risks, as well as provide suggestions for their project plan.
Knowledge and Skills
Extensive experience working in a PM or PMO.
Experience in creating proposals, task lists, project schedule for IT related projects.
Experience as a project manager managing IT related projects from start to finish.
Experience as a project manager communicating with stakeholders like customers, project members, and management.
Experience conducting project reviews as a PMO.
Experience organizing and managing a PMO.
(Experience working with a Japanese headquarters would be beneficial but is not essential)
Implementation of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, endpoint, etc.)
