Are you an experienced Joiner looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills? Our client, a respected organisation, is seeking a skilled Joiner to join their team on a temporary basis. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality workmanship and have a strong focus on customer care, then this could be the perfect role for you.

Contract Details:

  • Temporary contract, starting on 29th August 2024 and ending on 9th September 2024.
  • Full-time working pattern with 37 flexible hours per week.
  • Driving required.

Responsibilities:

As a Joiner, you will be part of a responsive and planned maintenance team, providing a top-notch building maintenance service to our client's customers. Your main duties will include:

  • Carrying out various joinery installations and repairs within set timescales.
  • Demonstrating a high level of craftsmanship, efficiency, and compliance with customer and contract requirements.
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are in good working condition before use.
  • Ordering and organising materials as required.
  • Adhering to health, safety, and welfare regulations at all times.
  • Collaborating with other tradespeople and team leaders to complete larger projects.
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining professional communication with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Relevant vocational qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds) in joinery.
  • Extensive work experience in the trade.
  • Physical fitness to undertake tasks in various environments and weather conditions.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Enhanced DBS check with children barred.
  • Experience in training apprentices is desirable.
