About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education for students. Your responsibilities will include supervising classes, ensuring students remain on task with their work, and managing classroom behaviour in the absence of the regular teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Cover Supervisor for various subjects across multiple schools in Havering.
- Supervise and support students in the completion of their work during teacher absences.
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Implement school policies and ensure student safety and behavior standards are upheld.
- Provide feedback to teachers on student performance and behavior.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar educational role is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
- Flexible and adaptable to work in different school settings within Havering.
- Passionate about education and committed to supporting student learning.
