The role:

A successful financial services company is now looking for a Customer Serivce & Collections Executive to join its team in Newport. The Customer Service & Collections Executive will play an important role in meeting the overall business objectives in ensuring all customer accounts are up to date with payments. Mon-Fri 9-5, 3 days working from home. Hybrid working is available upon completion of the probationary period. Further responsibilities include...

  • Maintain and administer a portfolio of customer accounts
  • Negotiate with customers and suppliers to achieve the best payment outcomes
  • Use tact and discretion when negotiating with customers and suppliers to build and maintain positive working relationships
  • Make recommendations to line managers when appropriate to agree the best course of action on cases in arrears
  • Assist line manager with reporting and case summaries
  • Communicate with customers in a polite and professional manner to ensure the best possible solutions are achieved at all times

The Person:

  • Customer service experience with the ability to engage positively with customers to achieve mutually beneficial results
  • Experience of account collections would be beneficial but not essential
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding in order to achieve the best results for all parties concerned
  • Flexible and able to prioritise daily/weekly work schedules
  • Willing to go the extra mile to achieve the best collection results on each account
  • Excellent communication skills

Salary:

  • £26k plus 25 days hols, monthly bonus, health, 3% pension, life assurance, gym membership
