Fawkes & Reece South are working with a main contractor who are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work in one of their commercial teams. The team are working on a major infrastructure framework worth well over £150m for the next 6 years on behalf of private clients and local authorities. Scope of works includes construction of highways and associated structures with individual projects worth up to £5m. Their projects are based on NEC contracts and are in Hampshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Sussex & Kent.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining one of their busy commercial teams reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor on various commercial duties (but not limited to):
- Accurate monthly forecasting
- Change control management and producing compensation events
- Sending enquiries to subcontractors
- Cashflow forecasts
- Producing and processing formal subcontract documents
- Producing interim and final accounts
Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
Quantity Surveying Degree-qualified or equivalent
Understanding of civil engineering or infrastructure projects would be beneficial
Ideally a member of RICS
Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
