Our client is seeking an ambitious controls biased Commissioning Engineer, to form part of a dedicated team whose primary focus is to transition our automated equipment from completion of build through to customer inspection and sign-off.
The commissioning phase can often present a variety of challenges that are especially prevalent when building bespoke equipment to satisfy their diverse customer base.
This post-holder will be based on-site at their site in Beccles, with 7-12 weeks working from our customer sites across the year, providing the ability to travel Worldwide.
The successful applicant for this position will need to show:
- Experience of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) using software such as Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Festo, Codesys and Siemens.
- Relevant vocation training or completion of a recognised apprenticeship in electrical and/or mechanical discipline.
- Knowledge of setting up Servos, VFD's, Remote I/O, Ethernet and Profibus networks.
- Proven electrical, pneumatic, or mechanical experience within the automation industry.
