Senior Accountant

Butler Rose Public Practice are delighted to be seeking a Senior Accountant for our client to offer enhanced general accounting and taxation service levels to a varied group of clients.
Role Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and review accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited companies
- Prepare and review personal and corporation tax computations, including tax returns and tax liabilities
- Oversee client bookkeeping
- Oversee VAT provision
- Management accounting
- Financial statements
- Payroll and pensions
- Liaise directly with clients
- Mentor junior staff
Personal Requirements
- ACCA/ACA qualified with a minimum of two years' post qualification experience
- Adept at overseeing a client portfolio within practice
- Working knowledge of accounting software including Sage, QuickBooks and Xero
- Experience using software for accounts production such as CCH
- Proficient at using Microsoft Office suite including Excel
- Strong communication and advisory skills
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
