Client is aSub-Contractor working on Clean & Waste Water Infrastructure with theirClient who is a JV on Scottish Waters SR21 Framework, with ambitious growthplans over the next 5 years.

Your new role :

As the QuantitySurveyor, Responsible for carrying out the administration of the commercial andfinancial aspects of the Delivery Framework. The role will involve workingclosely with the delivery team delivering both clean and waste infrastructureprojects.

As the QuantitySurveyor your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out the day to day administration of the commercial and financial aspects of projects.
  • Close liaison with the Project Management Team
  • Preparing Cost and Value reporting
  • Preparing commercial performance reports
  • Manage procurement including labour, plant, materials and subcontract
  • Contributing to weekly and monthly reports
  • Cost control
  • Cash collection
  • Client / Subcontractor management and liaison

What you'll need to succeed :

Skills and KnowledgeRequirements:

  • A degree/HND or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or other construction related subject or substantial previous experience in a similar position
  • A commercially and contractually astute individual that takes ownership of performance
  • A proactive person with a disposition to take action pre-emptively to manage risk and opportunity
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Results driven with the capability of working on their own initiative
  • Ability to deal with large amounts of data accurately and efficiently
  • Experience in the implementation of NEC contracts would be desirable
  • High attention to detail
