Salary – to £50,000 DOE

Bonus – annual and quarterly

About The Role

Our client is expanding their Commercial Finance team to excel in their growth ambitions and are looking for a part or fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA individual who has an inquisitive and analytical nature to take on this new opportunity!

This position will support their business unit to deliver high-quality financial reporting and insights to the Executive and Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will help manage and support future projects, including project accounting and CRM systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and develop reports periodically using PowerBI tools to provide key customer and branch information to the wider business unit.
  • Report on current and future performance, growth, and productivity-based KPIs to various stakeholders and advise accordingly to aid commercial decision-making.
  • Build partnerships and strong relationships with all senior managers to aid collaboration and achieve business growth ambitions.
  • Support and mentor the Asset Management accountant to develop the reporting process.
  • Produce business cases for further investment, including property, people, and products, ensuring we invest in the right areas at the right time.
  • Challenge current ways of working, drive efficiencies wherever possible, and continuously improve working standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous demonstrable experience in a Management Accountant, Financial Analyst, or Finance Partner/Advisor role.
  • Qualified or working towards CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualifications.
  • Ability to analyze and manipulate data on Excel using advanced features.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Navision, or Power BI would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to undertake a range of financial and business modeling tasks.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Experience using initiative to resolve issues and queries, confidently finding answers as needed.
  • Ability to act proactively and be forward-thinking while maintaining a methodical, attention-to-detail approach.
  • A driving license would be advantageous as there is an opportunity to visit different branches across the UK.
