Position: Qualified Nurse/Head Dental Nurse
Location: Balham, London
Hours: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £14-£18 per hour (based on experience)
Practice Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Early Finish)

Role Overview: As a Qualified Nurse/Head Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in our practice, ensuring the highest standards of care for our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, possess a valid GDC PIN, and be confident in managing both clinical and administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is ready to take on a leadership role within our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting dentists in all clinical procedures.
- Managing the dental nursing team and ensuring the smooth running of the practice.
- Maintaining high standards of infection control and patient care.
- Stock management and ordering supplies.
- Providing support and training to junior staff members.
- Managing patient appointments and ensuring a seamless patient experience.
- Ensuring compliance with all GDC and CQC regulations.
Requirements:
- Qualified Dental Nurse with a valid GDC PIN.
- Previous experience as a Head Dental Nurse is preferred.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to commute to Balham.
