Warehouse Operative

Are you looking for a role as a Warehouse Operative? Our client, is seeking Warehouse Operatives to join their team in Compton, West Berkshire. With a salary of £21,840 per annum, this is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of their fast-paced and well-controlled stock warehouse. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 3.30pm or 10am - 6pm. Please note you MUST have a drivers licence and your own car to apply for this position as you will be required to drive to the clients other sites which are located within a 3 mile radius of the main site in Compton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support manufacturing operations through the maintenance of the production facility and warehousing, goods in/out process.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movements.
  • Assist with monitoring and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Book in incoming goods and update relevant spreadsheets.
  • Assist with stock takes and cycle counts.
  • Collaborate with other departments and external suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a fast-moving stock warehouse and supply chain.
  • Knowledge of computer-based supply chain systems such as SAP or JDE is advantageous.
  • Previous work in a GMP or regulated stock control environment is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work as part of a team.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (15KG)
