What you'll be doing

Supporting across all stages of the employee lifecycle, this is a varied role that will see you managing and responding to a range of HR related queries and ensuring that administration and payroll tasks are completed accurately and to deadline.

Key tasks include:

  • Producing all people related paperwork e.g. contracts, changes to terms and conditions
  • Managing the HR inbox and responding to queries from colleagues and managers
  • Supporting the recruitment process, including posting adverts, managing responses and coordinating shortlisting and interviews
  • Processing payroll tasks and updating systems and trackers
  • Supporting the HR Business Partners with ad hoc reporting, process administration, ER matters e.g. absence management, parental leave
  • Supporting the onboarding and offboarding of staff e.g. probation periods, exit interviews
  • Offering guidance on HR policy and process
  • Supporting ad hoc projects and the HUKD people plan

Who we are looking for

We are ideally looking for someone with previous HR administration experience, but more importantly, we are looking for someone that can juggle a number of priorities, is an excellent team player and exudes a positive 'can do' attitude.

You will be:

  • Organised and proactive, able to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Able to communicate effectively, be approachable and build relationships
  • Customer-focused - managers, employees, colleagues and externally facing
  • At ease with processing payroll, numerical data and systems management
  • A dab hand at Excel would be a helpful attribute, as would previous use of HR information systems
  • Keen to work collaboratively as a team - both within HR and the wider business
  • Eager to learn, spot process efficiencies and able to champion our people initiatives
