Fast growing e commerce business based in the Altrincham area requires an Assistant Financial Controller. This is a newly created role due to the rapid growth and investment in the business. Reporting to the CFO duties will include;
- Reconciliation of various controls across financial systems and bank accounts
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of financial forecasts and annual budgets
- Leading work with external auditors in preparing the financial statements
- Accounting of component replacements and all other fixed assets and investments.
- Line management and mentorship of the Finance Team
- Delivery of process improvements and system developments across the organisation, in partnership with other members of the staff team.

Essential:
- Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
- Excellent all-round accountancy skills and experience of working in the e commerce/retail sectors
- Experience of using accounting software applications
- Experience of system management, reporting & data analysis
- Good working knowledge of desktop applications; especially Microsoft Excel
- Experience of preparing management accounts
