About the Role:
As a General Litigation Solicitor, you will handle a diverse caseload encompassing a broad spectrum of litigation matters. You will be responsible for representing clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters, including commercial disputes, civil litigation, employment disputes, and more. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile cases and collaborate with experienced legal professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of litigation matters from inception to resolution
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare court documents
- Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and negotiations
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes for clients
- Maintain accurate case records and billing information
- Stay updated on changes in legislation and legal developments relevant to litigation practice
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE in litigation
- Proven experience handling a variety of litigation matters
- Strong advocacy and negotiation skills
- Excellent legal research and writing abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Client-focused approach with exceptional communication skills
- Membership in relevant professional bodies or associations preferred
