role for their well established client based in Heywood, Greater Manchester.
Our client will also consider Trainee

candidates who are looking for a solid training plan and study support, with the plan of becoming a fully fledged

in the near future
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial status of the organisation and providing strategic financial guidance. We're looking for someone with a strong background in financial management and possess excellent leadership skills
Responsibilities of the
Finance Manager:
- Managing the company's sale, purchase, and nominal ledgers.
- Preparation of monthly accounts up to trial balance.
- Controlling cash flow with daily monitoring.
- Manage financial planning and budgeting processes
- Quarterly VAT submissions
- Processing payroll and pension payments (training will be provided on this)
- Oversee financial accounting and reporting activities
- Liaising with both the Commercial and Sales Directors
- Implement cost control measures to maximise profitability
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
Alternatively, they will consider a more junior level candidate who can be trained up to be a
Finance Manager.
They will offer study support if that is required. The training period will be approximately 12 months.
