We are seeking a talented commercial insurance account handler to join a leading independent insurance brokerage.
As a Commercial Account Handler, you will play a crucial role in managing and developing client relationships, providing expert advice, and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities-
- Account handle an existing book of commercial clients supporting the Account Executives
- Efficiently manage MTAs and renewals to maintain strong client relationships and maximise retention
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and contribute to the team's overall success.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products to existing clients, maximising revenue potential.
- Ensure strict adherence to all relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, product developments, and regulatory changes to enhance your knowledge and skills.
What you'll offer-
- With strong technical skills and ideally 2-3 years of commercial experience ideally in a broker environment.
- Experience in Acturis (desirable, however, training can be provided)
- Strong negotiation and relationship skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Organised with excellent time management skills
Requirements-
- Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C), including English and Maths
- Experience in a broad range of commercial insurance.
- Working towards Cert CII.
- Proven experience in handling Commercial classes of business.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Acturis.
