Job Summary

Sanderson are recruiting for a Team Leader who has a strong focus on people development and a customer centric approach to achieve a high quality of service to our clients. You will be one of two Compliance Team Leaders, Reporting into the Compliance Manager.

This role would be perfect for someone with experience leading teams who is dependable and collaborative. Experience in a compliance role is not essential.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading a team of Compliance Specialists (3 - 6)
  • Building positive professional relationships with customers, suppliers, and external parties
  • Building positive professional relationships with other shared service teams, delivery and key stakeholders
  • Holding reviews and setting objectives with your team that work towards the company goals and the individual career aspirations
  • Operating hands on with the workload when required
  • Attending meetings and representing the team to the wider business
  • Monitoring team adherence to company policies including absence and punctuality and managing disciplinary actions when required
  • Distribution of the workload within the compliance teams
  • Managing team workload and progress including inboxes and cover of any absence

Who You Are

  • Track-record of successfully leading teams and delegating responsibility effectively
  • Ability to build relationships with key senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to take the initiative and make decisions when required
  • Ability to resolve issues and look at continuous improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work proactively and inspire others to do the same
