Our client values teamwork, recognising that their dedicated staff and excellent teams are the driving force behind their success! Aside from being hardworking and forward-thinking, there are a few more requirements to make sure you are the right fit for this role:

  • Experience as a skilled Store Manager with a solid background in retail, or similar management environment.
  • Full Driving License.
  • Strong passion for personal and professional growth.
  • Proven experience in stock management, including hands-on replenishment, conducting stock counts, and handling booking-in processes.
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills and/or previous experience managing a small team.

As Store Manager you will lead business development efforts, manage all operational aspects, and drive profitability, while overseeing stock and cash handling, and inspiring a team of 4 key staff to achieve outstanding results. A typical day in this role includes:

  • Managing People: Recruit, train, and manage staff, conduct performance reviews, and maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Store Operations: Ensure staffing, security, and adherence to store procedures, including merchandising and stock management.
  • Customer Service: Maintain high service standards, handle customer feedback and complaints, and ensure effective merchandising.
  • Sales / Business Development: Achieve sales targets, identify new business opportunities, and foster customer relationships.
  • General Responsibilities: Follow company policies, promote best practices and values, and pursue continuous personal and professional growth.

Job Title: Store Manager

Salary: £26,000 - £27,500 per annum + bonuses, commission and incentives

Location: Wolverhampton

Full Time: 37.5 hours per week with alternating weekend shifts, with either Friday & Saturday or Saturday & Sunday off (9:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday, 7:00pm finish on Thursdays with these later shifts alternating, Saturdays OFF, and 10:00am - 1:00pm on Sundays)
