Role Overview:
As an Ecologist based in Wareham, you will take charge of various projects, offering expert advice on ecology and biodiversity to clients and project teams. Your responsibilities will include leading ecological surveys, conducting environmental impact assessments, and developing ecological reports and strategies. You will also play a pivotal role in enhancing biodiversity, protecting ecological resources, and mentoring junior colleagues. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities is a key aspect of this position.
The successful candidate will possess:
- A full UK driving license
- A BSc in a relevant field
- Membership with CIEEM
- Having protected species licences and botanical experience would be highly advantageous.
