Quantity Surveyor
- Annual Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 plus Car Allowance

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team, reporting into a semi resident Commercial Manager and working on a £9 million scheme. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in a main contracting environment who possess strong commercial acumen and can demonstrate a track record of working within commercial, residential or leisure projects.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the financial and commercial management of projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Prepare, submit and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and reports.
- Conduct risk and value management exercises, advising on procurement strategy.
- Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations.
- Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Work closely with the commercial manager and project director to ensure project objectives are met.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contracting environment.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and contract law.
- Excellent negotiation and financial management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in relevant QS software and MS Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
