Do you have experience in learning and development content creation and dissemination using a range of different mediums as well as evidence of developing, devising and implementing online learning initiatives?

If so....

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Learning Manager to work 35 hours a week within a not for profit organisation working 4 days a week from home and 1 day a week in the office located just outside of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. This is an opportunity not to be missed! And if you have experience within not for profit/charity sector then so much the better!

Within this role of Digital Learning Manager in Buckinghamshire you will play a pivotal role in shaping, implementing, managing, and developing the online learning services, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

This role includes maintaining a high-quality online learning experience and you will be responsible for developing the online learning proposition in terms of both accessibility (platforms) and content. This online learning is for their esteemed members, so the content must be in line with their needs.

Up to £42,000 plus discretionary bonus and fabulous benefits

What will I be doing in the Digital Learning Manager role?

  • Strategic business planning - defining the direction of the online services and aligning them with the companies mission, vision and goals.
  • Researching industry trends and new technologies to keep digital learning programmes innovative and effective.
  • Programme management and content development of new learning content.
  • Stakeholder management - working with subject matter experts to design and develop high quality content and resources aligned with member needs.
  • Managing the design and development of content and ensuring it is accurate.
  • Keeping content up to date and relevant and in line with company standards.
  • Project management including developing project plans, timelines, and budgets for the online learning.
  • Keeping up to date with online learning trends and instructional design methodologies/ learning management systems.
  • Creating a professional development newsletter to inform members of professional development opportunities including online courses, resources, conferences, webinars, and events.

Other criteria for the Digital Learning Manager role

  • Experience within learning and development content creations.
  • Experience in developing, devising, and implementing online initiatives.
  • Understanding of budgetary control.
  • Analytical thinking
