Position Summary:
- Working from Drawings to manually form thin gauge material.
Candidates will have:
- Experience with thin gauge material (ideally aluminium)
- Experience with counter sinking / drilling / manual basic sheet metal work
- Previously worked in precision engineering/manufacturing is essential for this position
- Experience in Sheet Metal Work or Panel Beating (material forming experience)
Purpose of role and key accountabilities:
- Producing bracketry
- Knocking over flanges
- Flattening / resetting angles
- Shape metal materials using both hand and others tools including: Stretch Forming; Rubber Press; Brake Press; Pipe Bending primarily working with aluminium.
