Overview:
Castlefield Recruitment are pleased to be working with a Lancashire based housing association in order to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis where you'll be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations and controls. This is a hands-on position that requires an experienced finance professional with a keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills.
Role:
As the Finance Manager you'll lead a small Finance Team to provide an excellent finance service to all areas of the organisation
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively to ensure the delivery of the organisation's vision, values and strategic objectives
- Support the development of the Finance team within the organisation, creating a business-focused service
- Lead on statutory reporting and internal/external audit
- Lead collaborative work across the organisation to embed, deliver and enhance Value for Money
- Provide strategic advice, information and expertise to ensure that the organisation is financially managed to the highest level
Person:
The successful Financial Controller will be/have:
- CCAB or equivalent professional qualification
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Social Housing experience (desirable)
