HR Administrator

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a HR Administrator to join our client on the outskirts of Burton on Trent. The main purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the HRSS function, serving as the primary contact for HR queries, offering accurate and timely responses to managers and employees. General responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle processes, coordinating with Payroll for accurate and timely payments
  • Prepare letters or contracts for changes to employee terms and conditions
  • Act as the first point of contact for Employee Relations queries
  • Maintain and update personnel records, including HRIS systems
  • Support the development and rollout of new functionalities
  • Coordinate parental leave processes and associated payroll tasks
  • Prepare management reports on employee data
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and maintain confidentiality of HR information
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, scanning, and emails
  • Adhere to organisational policies and standards, and deliver Payroll & HR Admin Service Level Agreements
  • Work with the HR team to improve department efficiency and service
  • Manage the employee recognition scheme
  • Perform any other reasonably requested duties

This role requires strong reporting skills and excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Reliability and confidentiality are essential qualities, as is the ability to identify and resolve problems promptly. The ability to prioritize and plan work activities efficiently is crucial, as well as being organized, accurate, thorough, and capable of monitoring one's own work for quality.
