Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and collaborative Export and Import Officer to join our client's inclusive and thriving team. This full-time compliance role offers an attractive contract rate.
The Export & Import Compliance Officer will manage and oversee all export and import activities, ensuring compliance with UK and international trade regulations and facilitating the timely delivery of goods.
In your first few weeks in this Export and Import Officer role, you can expect to undertake:
- Adherence to and maintenance of Export/Import company policy and procedures
- Ensuring company compliance with the UK and non-UK export & import controls
- Full responsibility for the UK Export licensing process via the relevant portal such as SPIER and liaising with local authorities ECJU.
- Liaising with government departments, networking internally and externally and helping to drive the business forward to meet export

- A profound understanding of UK Export Control & Licensing requirements in the aerospace or defence sector.
- Good understanding of non-UK Export Controls, including EU and US Export Controls
- Clear and inclusive stakeholder management skills
