Responsibilities:

  • Learn how to become the first point of contact for all incoming help-desk calls
  • Aim to assist and provide first line help-desk support to any and all of 2 Moons' customers and clients
  • Attempt to accurately record all relevant technical information regarding the reported issue into the help-desk ticketing system
  • Assisting with the setting up, maintenance and repair of computer linked/computer related equipment
  • Help with the collection and delivery of computer equipment to customers
  • As requested, proactively undertaking any other relevant duties as may be reasonably required by the IT support team
  • With training and development, you will reach the point at which you can be assigned tickets to resolve yourself

  • A base understanding of the fundamentals in IT
  • Customer Service skills or an understanding of them is essential
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Being able to work to business customer deadlines

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working week:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm,
Total hours per week: 37.5

Hybrid working:

  • Office working: Monday, Thursday and Friday
  • Remote working: Tuesday and Wednesday

Future prospects:
As well as the chance to receive full on the job training throughout, by the end of the apprenticeship you'll have gained nationally accredited qualifications.
