Job
The role of Payroll Supervisor will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
- Ensuring accurate payroll processing within set deadlines
- Overseeing the administration of payroll elements including tax, NI, and statutory payments
- Conducting internal audits for payment accuracy
- Maintaining up-to-date employee records in collaboration with HR
- Adhering to GDPR regulations
- Submitting pension contribution files
- Managing the year-end processes
- Query resolution and advising on payroll tax rules
- Preparing payroll reports and P11D submissions
- Supporting and developing the Payroll/Accounts Assistant
You
As a Payroll Supervisor, you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
- Comprehensive knowledge of payroll processing and auto enrolment
- Strong understanding of HMRC requirements and UK payroll tax rules
- Experience in payroll auditing and reporting
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with Iris Earnie payroll software (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills for handling queries and providing guidance
- GDPR compliance awareness
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks
