Financial Controller - Manufacturing

Location: Leeds - (Agile working - 3 days in office)

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 + Bonus & Benefits

Elevation Senior Finance is currently looking to recruit a Financial Controller on behalf of a Global Manufacturing organisation in Leeds.

If you are a commercially focused accountant with a passion for operations and being involved in the wider business, then this is a fantastic and exciting opportunity within a fast-growing manufacturing business. You will be working closely with senior management to increase the company's efficiency and profitability by assisting with the formulation of both the medium and long-term financial plan. Along with being involved in the commercial and operational decision making which will shape the path the business takes over the next few years.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Participate in business tactical and strategic discussions
  • Identify opportunities for business improvement
  • Lead and manage the Leeds finance team, providing all aspects of financial control and transactional processing for the Leeds based production facility
  • Provide proactive business support and financial analysis to the Leeds plant manager and management team
  • Prepare accurate and timely annual financial plans, budgets and monthly
  • Outlooks, forecasts including cash forecasting
  • Advise on the impact of any pricing and cost changes
  • Maximise revenues and recognise synergies with other sites across the UK
  • Participate in the continuous analysis and review of site profitability by individual production activity & provide financial support to bring about change
  • Conduct performance reviews, design development plans and set annual goals and competencies for finance team
  • Co-ordinate and control regular reviews of debtor and creditor reviews to ensure accuracy of records
  • Assist other roles within the Finance department where necessary

Elevation Accountancy & Finance would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:

  • Assist other roles within the Finance department where necessary
  • CIMA, ACCA OR ACA Qualified
  • Ideally relevant experience in Manufacturing
  • Stakeholder management and influencing
  • Commercial and operational decision support
  • Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel
