Key Account Manager - Automation Safety - M62 corridor

Are you a safety-focused sales professional with a proven track record in automation?

We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to join our successful team. Our company is a leading specialist in automation components, systems, and services, with a strong commitment to safety.

The Role:

  • Develop and manage key accounts across a diverse range of industries.
  • Drive sales growth for our portfolio of products and services, including training, consulting, engineering, and technical support.
  • Generate new business opportunities and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals for machinery safety solutions (risk assessments, PUWER assessments, CE/UKCA marking).
  • Conducted market research, attended industry events, and represented the company at exhibitions.
  • Provide expert technical advice and support to customers.
  • Covering the M62 Corridor.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven sales experience in safety-related automation technology (safety relays, controllers, PLCs, light curtains, interlocks, software).
  • Strong understanding of machinery safety standards and regulations (e.g., PUWER, CE/UKCA).
  • Technical knowledge of automation systems and components.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong commercial acumen.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the UK.

This is a home-based position requiring national coverage.
