CRM Technical Project Manager

Venn Group is excited to partner with the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea to recruit a specialist CRM programme team, to deliver the Dynamics 365 CRM technical elements of the council's resident experience transformation.

The CRM programme team will translate the council's user and business needs into technical specifications, then work with a 3rd party CRM partner to develop these into high-quality and user-friendly digital services and functions.

The CRM Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of new CRM software and services, taking into consideration deployment, data migration, training and engagement, and any business activities required to integrate new CRM products and services into production with support.

Employment type: Fixed-Term Contract

Length: 12 months initial

Salary: £55,497 - £63,045

Hybrid working is required, with the team attending the office in London once a week.

Responsibilities in post:

  • Take full responsibility for the delivery of large CRM technology-enabled projects, including all elements of planning, financial management, supplier management and the realisation of value
  • Lead on CRM project budgeting, deliverables, risks and business cases
  • Use creativity and judgement to identify and translate user need into project deliverables, working to balance financial efficiencies with new functionality
  • Ensure that all services are informed and involved throughout the change and fully prepared to exploit new functionality once it is in place
  • Manage suppliers and partners involved in projects, negotiate commercial relationships and agreements, and mitigate risks from working with external parties
  • Work across a range of corporate CRM projects (e.g. embedding in another business area for a large technology procurement or upgrade)
  • Identify and agree project milestones, produce and maintain up to date project plans, and report on project progress; leading project review meetings and providing feedback to stakeholders
  • Co-ordinate communications plans and ensure regular relevant and timely communication takes place with all stakeholders to effectively manage their expectations

Desired skills and experience:

  • Experience in managing technology and digital projects
  • Experience of delivering CRM, customer-focused services and tools
  • Experience of building delivery roadmaps and plans
  • Knowledge of modern CRM technology, including cloud technology, architecture, agile delivery methods and software practices
  • Understanding of customer journeys and experience
  • Relevant professional qualifications e.g. Agile, PRINCE II, or demonstrable experience of project delivery in these environments
